1) What is SlapKiss?

SlapKiss is the place to share your videos with your friends, family and everyone else.

• To watch a video: sit down, make a selection from most recent, most popular, filter with tags or owner, and launch the player!

• To share a video: come up with an idea, catch it on film (or on your webcam), register over here on SlapKiss, upload the video to our site and come up with appropriate tags (keywords) so that other users can find your video.

• If you want to go even further, try participating in groups! A group is a community of people who all publish videos based on a similar idea, such as theme, location, hobby, and many more.

There is only one rule, unleash your creativity!

2) How can I add my videos onto SlapKiss?

First, you have to create an account to add a video.
Once logged in, an "upload" link will appear on the top navigation bar, select it. You now have to browse for the video you want to upload on your harddrive. Once selected, select SEND.
The time it takes to upload your video will depend on your connection speed and the size of the video chosen.

3) How can I delete a video?

Go to "my vidoes" section at the top of the page (when logged in), and press the delete button on the bottom of the page.

4) What is a tag?

Wikipedia says: "Tags are pieces of information separate from, but related to, an object. In the practice of collaborative categorization using freely chosen keywords, tags are descriptors that individuals assign to objects."

Imagine a closet filled with shelves full of fruit, vegetables, photos, music, and anything else you can thing of (It has to exist somewhere!). Where would you place:

• The song Strawberry Fields Forever by The Beatles

• The album Banana by The Velvet Underground

• The album covers of both those discs

Tags help solve this annoying little problem. Tags are keywords which you associate with videos after organizing them so that you can find them afterwords. Tags also help make your content accessible to others. By tagging Strawberry Fields Forever by The Beatles with "music" or "strawberry", it will be available to people searching for both strawberries and music.
In our case, we could use the following tags:

• The song Strawberry Fields Forever by The Beatls: STRAWBERRY MUSIC

• The album Banana by The Velvet Underground: BANANA MUSIC

• The album covers of both those discs: PHOTOS FRUITS MUSIC

The tagging process leads to an intelligent and helpful search engine. For example, if you publish a video with the following tags: black cat animal, and you search for your video using the word "cat", not only will your video turn up, but every other video with the tag "cat" as well.

7) Can I use SlapKiss without creating an account?

Yes you can. You can watch all the public videos, but you won't be able to comment, add videos or create groups, so come on and REGISTER!

8) How can I make my video appear in the "Featured" section?

A video becomes featured when many users click the 'feature this' link when watching a video.
The "featured" videos list is displayed on the homepage to increase maximum exposure..

13) How do I create an account with SlapKiss?

2. Enter a username, password and e-mail address.

3. You will quickly receive a confirmation email containing a hyperlink (check your JUNK inbox)
